Xanguard vs X-Relay (2026): Honest Comparison for Crypto Twitter Alerts

X-Relay and Xanguard both send crypto Twitter alerts to Telegram, and they are good at different things. X-Relay is the better packaged chat product: Telegram and Discord, buy buttons, and every feature included in every plan, up to 75 accounts. Xanguard is the faster and larger platform: a measured quarter-second median, plans up to 1,000 accounts, and a full API with WebSocket streaming. This page compares them fairly, including the places where X-Relay is the better choice.

X-Relay figures were read from x-relay.com (home, pricing, docs, latency and comparison pages) on 20 September 2026. Xanguard figures come from our live systems on the same day. Prices change, so check both sites before you buy.

Where X-Relay wins

Discord

X-Relay delivers natively to Discord as well as Telegram, with a permanent free tier on Discord. Xanguard has no Discord bot. If your group is on Discord, this decides it.

One plan, everything included

Every X-Relay plan carries the same feature set: tweets, follows and unfollows, profile edits, Spaces, X Lists, keyword search, bio keywords, community convergence and auto-translation. On Xanguard, follows, profile changes and X-wide keyword search are separate subscriptions. For a trader who wants all of it on 10 to 50 accounts, X-Relay's bundle costs less.

Buy buttons and TON

X-Relay puts one-tap buttons for Axiom, Trojan, Photon, GMGN, BonkBot and Maestro on contract address alerts, and it detects TON addresses. Xanguard's token box has the market data and chart links, but no trading-bot buttons, and it covers Solana and EVM only.

Paying with any coin

X-Relay accepts BTC, ETH, USDT on several chains, SOL, TON, LTC and others. Xanguard accepts SOL.

Where Xanguard wins

1. Speed you can check, including the slow tail

X-Relay is candid about what it publishes: a record (281 ms), not a typical value, and no delivery time. Its pricing page also explains that without the Turbo add-on a tracked account is checked about every 2.6 seconds, which means a typical alert on a base plan cannot be sub-second.

Xanguard publishes the full distribution from production, refreshed hourly: a median of 262 ms, 96.1% of tweets under 500 ms and 99.1% under one second, across 59,521 tweets in the 7 days to 20 Sep 2026. Every paid plan gets the same speed. See the live speed page for how it is measured.

2. Like-for-like price once speed is included

AccountsX-Relay baseX-Relay with TurboXanguard
10$15$24$19
30 to 35$30 (30 accounts)$49 (30 accounts)$49 (35 accounts)
75$69$108$99
150Not offeredNot offered$179
500Not offeredNot offered$349
1,000Not offeredNot offered$700

If a delay of a couple of seconds is acceptable, X-Relay's base plans are the cheaper option. If you want fast checking, the two cost about the same, and Xanguard is slightly cheaper.

3. Scale

X-Relay's largest published plan is 75 accounts, with larger setups by direct message. Xanguard publishes plans to 1,000 accounts, both on Telegram and on the B2B API.

4. A real API

Xanguard gives you a REST API, HMAC-SHA256 signed webhooks and a WebSocket stream that carries tweets, deleted tweets, profile changes and follow events as JSON, with both the posted and the detected timestamp on every tweet so you can audit latency yourself. X-Relay's own comparison table rates its REST API as limited and its webhooks as basic, and lists no WebSocket. X-Relay itself recommends Xanguard if you are piping a raw feed into your own bot.

5. pump.fun and X Communities depth

Xanguard has dedicated products for pump.fun (creator wallets, launches, graduations, livestreams and caller callouts with win rates) and for X Communities (who joined which community, and when several tracked accounts converge on one). X-Relay includes a lighter community convergence alert in its base plan and has no wallet tracking.

Which one should you pick?

Both have a free way to test on the accounts you care about. Run them side by side for a day and compare the timestamps. That is the only benchmark that matters for your watchlist.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Xanguard or X-Relay faster?

Xanguard publishes a measured median: about 260 ms from tweet to detection on paid plans, with p95 and p99 on a live page at xanguard.tech/speed. X-Relay publishes its fastest single detection (281 ms) and states that it does not publish a median or a delivery time. On X-Relay, accounts are re-checked about every 2.6 seconds unless you buy the Turbo add-on, which re-checks as often as every 300 ms.

Which is cheaper, Xanguard or X-Relay?

X-Relay's base plans are cheaper per account up to its 75-account maximum ($15 for 10, $69 for 75, versus Xanguard's $19 for 10 and $99 for 75). With X-Relay's Turbo speed add-on included, prices are close ($24 versus $19 for 10 accounts, $108 versus $99 for 75). Above 75 accounts only Xanguard has published plans: 150 for $179, 200 for $230, 500 for $349 and 1,000 for $700 a month.

Does Xanguard support Discord like X-Relay?

No. X-Relay delivers natively to both Telegram and Discord. Xanguard delivers to Telegram, webhooks, REST and WebSocket. If your community lives on Discord, X-Relay is the better fit.

Which one should I use to feed tweets into my own bot?

Xanguard. It offers a REST API, HMAC-signed webhooks and a real-time WebSocket stream for up to 1,000 accounts. X-Relay's own comparison table describes its REST API as limited, its webhooks as basic and lists no WebSocket streaming.

Do both detect contract addresses in tweets?

Yes. Both attach live market data to contract address alerts. X-Relay covers Solana, EVM chains and TON and adds one-tap buy buttons for trading bots. Xanguard covers Solana and EVM chains, shows price, market cap, FDV, liquidity, volume, price change, all-time high and token age, and its B2B API can also read contract addresses out of images with OCR.
