Short answer: X-Relay is the better value for a small chat watchlist on Discord or Telegram if a delay of a few seconds is fine, because $15 buys tweets, follows, search and buy buttons in one plan. Xanguard is the better choice when speed, follow alerts, more than 75 accounts or an API matter, and at each tool's fastest setting it costs the same or less at 10, 30 and 75 accounts.

Price at equal speed
X-Relay's base plans re-check a tracked account about every 2.6 seconds. Its advertised 300 ms figure needs the Turbo add-on. So the fair price comparison puts each tool at its fastest setting: X-Relay plus Turbo against a Xanguard paid plan, which has one speed for every plan.

Monthly prices, checked 23 September 2026. X-Relay also sells 3-month plans at about 14% off. Two honest caveats. First, a re-check interval is not the same thing as detection time, and X-Relay publishes no median, so "equal speed" here means each tool's fastest published setting, not a measured head-to-head. Second, at exactly 50 accounts X-Relay with Turbo is cheaper, because Xanguard's plans step from 35 to 75 accounts. At 10, 30 and 75 accounts Xanguard costs the same or less.
Where X-Relay wins
1. Everything in one $15 plan
Every X-Relay plan carries the same features: tweets, replies and quotes, follows and unfollows, profile edits, Spaces, whole X Lists as one tracker, keyword search, bio keywords, community convergence, auto-translation and CA alerts. On Xanguard, follows, profile changes and X-wide keyword search are separate add-ons. For a trader who wants all of it on 10 to 50 accounts, X-Relay's bundle costs less.
2. Discord
X-Relay delivers natively to Discord as well as Telegram, with 2 accounts free forever on Discord. Xanguard has no Discord bot. If your group is on Discord, this decides it.
3. Faster keyword search, included
X-Relay's search tracker (20 queries) is checked about every 15 seconds, or about every 4.3 seconds with Turbo, and it is included in the plan. Xanguard's Search Alerts costs $50 for 20 queries and runs on a schedule of 10 minutes to 6 hours. For X-wide keyword search, X-Relay is clearly better.
4. Buy buttons and TON
X-Relay puts one-tap buttons for Axiom, Trojan, Photon, GMGN, BonkBot and Maestro on contract address alerts, and it detects TON addresses. Xanguard's token box has richer market data and chart links, but no trading-bot buttons, and covers Solana and EVM only.
5. 25+ coins and a 3-day trial
X-Relay accepts BTC, ETH, USDT on several chains, SOL, TON, LTC, XMR and more than twenty other coins, and gives Telegram users a 3-day trial with 30 accounts. Xanguard accepts SOL only and has no trial beyond its 1-account free plan.

1. A published speed distribution, not a record
X-Relay publishes one number: its fastest single detection, 281 ms. It says itself that this is a record rather than a typical result, and it publishes no delivery figure.
Xanguard publishes its tweet speed from production, refreshed hourly: ~200 ms median detection on paid plans, with p95 and p99 on the same page. 2. Follow alerts in a fraction of a second
Xanguard Follow Watch alerts new follows in a median of 284 ms, with 93.5% under 500 ms (measured 18 to 20 September 2026). X-Relay's own guide says following lists are re-scanned roughly every five minutes, closer to every half hour for accounts that follow many people, and that unfollows need about fifteen minutes of confirmation. If you trade on who a KOL just followed, that gap is minutes.
3. Plans up to 1,000 accounts
X-Relay's largest published plan is 75 accounts, with larger setups by direct message. Xanguard publishes plans for 150, 200, 500 and 1,000 accounts, on Telegram and on the B2B API.
4. A full API with WebSocket streaming
Xanguard gives you a REST API, HMAC-SHA256 signed webhooks and a WebSocket stream that carries tweets, deleted tweets, profile changes and follow events as JSON, with both the posted and the detected timestamp on every tweet so you can audit latency yourself. B2B plans start at $49 a month. X-Relay's own comparison table rates its REST API as limited and its webhooks as basic, lists no WebSocket, and its Xanguard page says our API is the more complete surface if you are feeding an execution bot. 5. Measured uptime
Tweet Alerts uptime was 99.99%, measured from our detection logs over the 90 days to 23 September 2026, with two short outages of about 4 and 5 minutes. That is a measured history, not an SLA. X-Relay's status page states a 99.9% uptime target.
6. pump.fun and X Communities depth
Xanguard has dedicated products for pump.fun (creator wallets, launches, graduations, livestreams and caller callouts with win rates) and for X Communities (who joined which community, and when several tracked accounts converge on one). Pick X-Relay when:
- Your group is on Discord.
- You want tweets, follows, keyword search and buy buttons in one cheap plan for 75 accounts or fewer, and a few seconds of delay is fine.
- Fast X-wide keyword search is your main signal.
- You need TON contract detection, want to pay in a coin other than SOL, or want a free trial first.
Pick Xanguard when:
