To see who an X (Twitter) account recently followed, you can scroll its Following list, but X gives you no dates and no alerts. A follow tracker fixes that. How to see who someone follows on X (free, manual)
- Open the account's profile on X and tap Following. You need to be logged in to see the list.
- The newest follows usually appear near the top. X does not show when each follow happened, and the order is not guaranteed.
- Check back later and compare. For one account and a few minutes of attention, this works. For ten accounts, or for catching a follow the minute it happens, it does not.
Protected accounts only show their following list to approved followers, and no tracker can see it either.

Every alert carries the followed account's handle and display name, bio, follower and following counts, and whether the account is protected. Unfollow alerts use the same layout.
How to turn it on
- Open @Xanguard_bot in Telegram.
- Tap Follow Watch and choose a plan.
- Pay in SOL. The plan activates automatically when the payment confirms.
- Tap Add account and send usernames or x.com links.
- Follow alerts arrive in your private chat with the bot by default. To get them in a group instead, create a private Telegram group, add @Xanguard_bot as an admin, send
/setupin the group and switch Follow Watch delivery in/settings.

How fast is it?
Measured on production traffic: a median of 284 ms, and 93.5% of new follows alerted in under 500 ms, from the moment X shows the follow to the alert leaving our servers (784 follows over 48 hours to 20 September 2026).
One honest caveat: X itself does not always register a follow instantly, especially on very large accounts. That delay happens before any tracker can see the follow. About 5% of follows take longer than 3 seconds, usually because X is slow to list the new follow.

Accuracy
X's following lists are not perfectly reliable: accounts sometimes drop out of a list for a while without being unfollowed. Follow Watch never reports an unfollow from a missing list entry alone. Each candidate is checked directly against X, and only a confirmed unfollow produces an alert. New follows are only announced when they are actually new, not when an old follow resurfaces.
