Checked 6 October 2026 via press reports and search summaries; X's own help pages blocked automated access, so confirm the current plan on x.com.

X Pro needs a Premium+ subscription, reported at roughly $40 a month, or $33 a month paid annually (MacRumors, March 2026). Before the change it was included with the cheaper Premium plan, reported at $8 a month. Who should keep X Pro?

X Pro is a good fit if you:

• Read X all day and want many feeds, lists and searches side by side on a big screen
• Already pay for Premium+ for other reasons, so the dashboard is effectively free

• Do not need to be pulled away from what you are doing the moment someone tweets

Xanguard does not replace any of that. It cannot post, schedule or browse a feed.
